Morzine/Schweinfurt, 21.06.2012 – A world innovation at Haibike:The bike producer from Lower Franconia energizes the damper. In the French Morzine, Haibike presents together with La Pierre and Ghost the first intelligent damper-system for Mountainbikes This name e:i shock stands for an accurate technology, which guaranties the cyclist an uphill and downhill performance without regulating the damper by hand. This is possible by three sensors on the bike which recognize and capture the speed, acceleration, so to say the beats on the fork as well as the pedaling frequency regularly. These records will be converted within one-tenth second in the e:i shock controller. The full automatic system regulates the damper considering the terrain conditions. Thanks to the revolutionary innovation, the cyclist only has to brake, switch and steer.
